Privacy

Short version: no cookies, no tracking, and we only keep what you choose to give us.

No cookies, no trackers

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Fonts, pictures and code are all served from this site. The one outside service is Supabase, which runs player accounts and the wishlist, and your browser only talks to it on the account pages and when you use the wishlist.

What we keep

If you sign up for news, we keep your email address and the date you signed up. If you send a message, we keep your name, email address, topic and message. To stop spam we also keep a scrambled code made from your internet address, which can't be turned back into the address.

Player accounts and the wishlist

If you make an account, we keep your email address, your display name, your password (stored scrambled, never readable) and your wishlist choice: whether you wishlisted, which platform you'd like and whether you want the launch email. These are kept by Supabase, our account service, in its Mumbai (India) region. While you're logged in, your browser keeps a login token in its local storage (not a cookie), so you stay logged in between pages. Signing out removes it.

How we use it

Newsletter addresses are used only to send news about the game. Messages are used only to reply to you. Nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising.

How long we keep it

Messages are deleted once they've been answered and are no longer needed. Newsletter addresses are kept until you ask to leave or the newsletter ends.

Deleting your data

To see, change or delete what we hold about you, or to leave the newsletter, send a message from the same email address and it will be done.

Deleting your account

To delete your account and everything linked to it, email support@spiritlandsonline.com from the address you signed up with. We'll delete it and reply to confirm. You can take yourself off the wishlist any time from your account page.

Changes

If this page changes, the date below will change with it.

One short email whenever something real is ready to show: a trailer, a demo, a release date. Nothing else.
